The urban design project focuses on the development of Yamuna waterfront which is near to ITO, Delhi, India.
Aim:-
We wanted to design and redevelop Yamuna river front in a way that it do not disturb the ecology of the given site.
Our site already has lush green areas and water-body(river) so without damaging the nature we wanted to create a site which would be more responsible, informative and which can respond to its immediate context.
We also wanted to attract tourists and people of of different age groups by adding different activities.
• Adaptive re-use of the existing buildings.
• Redeveloping the chat Ghat.
• Reusing the power-grid(non working condition)
