Nushin Samavaki

Nushin Samavaki is a practicing architect. After graduating from Tehran University of Art in 2007, she joined the professional architecture community in Tehran, Iran, where she eventually led a team of architects and cooperated with other engineering disciplines. In 2012, after being registered by the TCEO as a Licensed Architect, she successfully ran her own architectural firm while taking her first MA in Architecture.

In 2020, her Cubes Warehouse Project received an Honorable Mention in Architecture and Construction Magazine’s “13th Architecture and Interior Architecture of Iran Awards”. In 2016, her entry “Make Your Rhythm”, a project that improves social interaction and encourages people to take public transportation, was shortlisted by the prestigious Playable City Competition in Bristol, England.

In August 2019, she moved to Canada to continue her studies and broaden her opportunities both professionally and personally as a woman.
