La table ronde By- SEBASTIAN DIAZ REVERON @sebastiandr.architecture

La table ronde was influenced by the idea of a circular serving system providing a dining attracting with multiple layers that include the kitchen, restaurant, and the belvedere. While designing La table ronde, we decided not to take the usual approach where the kitchen is placed in the backstage of the restaurant. Our main target was to have the kitchen and the preparation process in the frontstage, visible to all through the peripheral promenade allowing guests to gaze into the cooking process while walking towards the upper access. The relation of this space is integrated with other amenities in the tower including the garden underneath and the connection to the service tower where the staff, restrooms and lifts are placed.
