This Civic Center is designed for sectors of Santurce, Puerto Rico. The specific sectors are San Mateo, Minillas and Sagrado Corazon. They are not continuous with its immediate context, there is a social, spatial and urban disintegration. The necessity of educational functions, urban, cultural and health spaces are the main reasons for this disintegration. Therefore, this civic center proposes to offer a connection between educational sectors of the immediate context, such as the University of Sagrado Corazon and the Museum of Art of Puerto Rico, creating an integration in this disintegrated context and offering programs from arts workshops to entrepreneurship programs.
